Next year?
Wow. That was great.
I think that I say for everyone that SXSW Interactive 2008 was a mind-blowing experience.
We were very kindly supported by Digital Central this year so if we can get a list of a few other people who want to be part of something similar next year we could potentially expand on what we’ve done and see if we can get another similar trip organised through other organisations that may be able to help with the funds to make it happen.

Not that I’ll be leading it but I’ve no doubt that there will be funding next year through Advantage West Midlands for the continued development of the Interactive sector. It may even be through something that’s still called Digital Central.
So if we feel that attendance at major events like SXSW is vital to keep the region’s digital media companies ahead of the game then I’d hope that next year it’s a given that we’ll get some people out there again.
